Return & Refund Policy

At Light of Modesty, customer satisfaction is important to us, and we take great care to ensure that every garment is checked carefully before it is packed and shipped. We are committed to providing high-quality products and a smooth shopping experience for all of our customers. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

By placing an order with Light of Modesty, you agree to the terms of this policy.

General Policy

Due to the nature of our products and for hygiene and quality assurance reasons, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for items that have been worn, used, washed, altered, damaged after delivery, or show any signs of wear and tear.

We strongly encourage all customers to carefully review the product description, sizing information, color details, and any other relevant information before completing a purchase.

Eligibility for Return or Exchange Review

In order for an item to be considered for review, it must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item must be unworn

  • The item must be unwashed

  • The item must be unused

  • The item must be in its original condition

  • The item must be free from perfume, stains, marks, odors, makeup, damage, or any other signs of use

  • The request must be made within the required time stated in this policy

Please note that meeting these conditions does not automatically guarantee a refund or exchange. All requests are subject to inspection and approval by Light of Modesty.

No Refunds on Used or Worn Items

For the protection of all customers and to maintain product quality standards, we do not provide refunds or accept returns for any item that has been:

  • Worn

  • Washed

  • Used

  • Altered

  • Damaged by the customer

  • Returned in a condition different from the original condition in which it was received

Any item returned in an ineligible condition may be rejected.

Manufacturing Defects and Company Errors

If you receive an item with a manufacturing defect or if you receive the wrong item due to a company error, we will review the issue and, if approved, provide an exchange for the same item.

Examples of issues that may qualify include:

  • A clear stitching defect

  • A torn seam upon arrival

  • A damaged garment received due to a production issue

  • Receiving the wrong product from what was ordered

Please note that slight variations in color due to screen settings, lighting, photography, or minor measurement differences are not considered manufacturing defects.

Exchange Requests

If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect or there has been an order error, you must contact us within 2 to 4 days of receiving your order.

To request an exchange, please send an email to lightofmodestyco@gmail.com and include the following details:

  • Your full name

  • Your order number

  • The email address used to place the order

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Clear photos of the item showing the defect or error

  • Photos of the packaging, if relevant

Once we receive your request, our team will review the information and respond with the next steps.

Condition of Item for Exchange Approval

For an exchange request to be approved, the item must remain:

  • Unused

  • Unworn

  • Unwashed

  • In its original condition

  • Free from any signs of wear or misuse

If the item shows signs of wear, washing, perfume, stains, damage, or any other condition that suggests it has been used, the exchange request may be denied.

Return Shipping and Exchange Shipping Costs

Customers are responsible for all return and exchange shipping costs unless otherwise stated by Light of Modesty.

This includes:

  • The cost of shipping the item back to us

  • The cost of sending the exchanged item back to the customer, where applicable

Shipping charges paid at the time of the original order are non-refundable.

Inspection Process

Once the item is returned to us, it will be inspected carefully by our team. If the manufacturing defect or company error is confirmed and the item meets all policy requirements, we will process the exchange for the same item.

If the returned item does not meet the conditions outlined in this policy, the exchange may be refused.

Refund Policy

As a general rule, Light of Modesty does not offer refunds.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind

  • Incorrect size selected by the customer

  • Preference changes after purchase

  • Delays caused by shipping carriers

  • Slight color variations due to screen display differences

  • Incorrect shipping address entered by the customer

  • Items that do not fit as expected when sizing details were provided

  • Worn, washed, used, or damaged items

A refund will only be considered if Light of Modesty determines that it is necessary under exceptional circumstances. Any such decision will be made solely at our discretion.

Non-Returnable and Non-Refundable Items

The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Items that have been worn

  • Items that have been washed

  • Items with stains, odors, or signs of use

  • Items damaged after delivery

  • Sale items, if marked as final sale

  • Gift cards, if applicable

  • Items returned without prior contact and approval

Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, you must contact us as soon as possible at lightofmodestyco@gmail.com.

We cannot guarantee cancellation once an order has been placed. If the order has already been processed or shipped, it can no longer be canceled.

Incorrect Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping and contact information at checkout. Light of Modesty is not responsible for delays, failed deliveries, or lost parcels caused by incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

If an order is returned to us بسبب incorrect address details, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the order.

Delayed, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Once an order has been shipped and marked as delivered by the courier, Light of Modesty is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

If your order is delayed or appears lost in transit, please contact us and we will do our best to assist you in communicating with the shipping carrier.

Please note that shipping delays caused by courier services, weather conditions, public holidays, customs, or other external factors are outside our control and do not qualify for a refund.

Right to Refuse Returns or Exchanges

Light of Modesty reserves the right to refuse any return, refund, or exchange request if:

  • The request is made outside the allowed time frame

  • The item is not in original condition

  • The item shows signs of wear, washing, or use

  • The customer does not provide sufficient proof of the issue

  • The issue does not fall under a manufacturing defect or company error

Light of Modesty reserves the right to update, change, or modify this Return & Refund Policy at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be posted on this page and will apply from the date of publication.
